Q: Why am I not able to mount the label on the case properly?
A: Our product is a bit unique, so it's understandable why it might take a minute to figure out, but you'll get the hang of it. If you're having trouble mounting it onto the CD case, check out the video on our home page. Then you'll realize how simple it is!
Q: Do you make colored labels?
A: We used to. Because of the lack of demand for our colored labels, we've discontinued production.
Q: Why do you only have 4" x 6" sheets of labels? Why don't you sell full 8 1/2" x 11" sheets?
A: The 4" x 6" size we use is ideal in many ways, and there are a lot of reasons for this. First of all, the printable area is so small that if you were to improperly load a full 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of labels into a printer, you'd ruin your whole sheet of labels. With only five labels per sheet, you'll lose less labels in case of a mistake. Also, the perforations are very fine on the label sheets, so they might fall apart in your printer if it were a full sheet. Lastly, if a CD company or jewel case distributor decides to carry our product with their cases, full-size sheets would not fit in their packaging.
Q: Do you have a software version for Mac users?
A: Unfortunately not. We've had many users tell us how much success they've had by using other programs to create their own label templates (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Word, Pages). You may want to give that a try. You can visit our printing page to download a template for Word or Pages.
Q: Does your company sell CD cases or blank discs?
A: No, believe it or not, we don't. Just these labels.
Q: Why is the software not working properly?
A: First of all, our software support ended on January 1, 2023 due to lack of demand. Most people either write by hand or use the Microsoft Word template. That being said, if you still insist on using it, it works on most PC's, and the labels will print on most home printers, but we can't guarantee it will work on all of them. Some printers won't print on the 4"x6" specialty size adhesive paper we use, so consult your printer user manual. The good news is that the software is free. We've had many users tell us how much success they've had by using other programs to create their own label templates (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Word, Mac Pages). You may want to give that a try.
